ENERGY SEA BUCKTHORN

If you're looking for a boost of energy, you've found it. According to Mongolian folk history, ancient Mongolian tribes allowed ailing horses to roam free in the highlands where they could graze on wild-growing sea buckthorn. As the legends maintain, after a few days the horses would return, healthier, with gleaming coats.
Yet another Mongolian legend holds that during the 13th century, Genghis Khan fed sea buckthorn berries to his troops to give them the strength and endurance they needed to conquer their enemies. 
Sea buckthorn - it was used to promote heart health, protect against diabetes, lower cholesterol and prevent stomach ulcers. Considered a source of potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and Vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E, the berries are also known for their immune-boosting power. We love these berries for their mild fruity character, and as an exotic addition to herb and fruit blends.
